Meet the Founder
Maurice “Murph” McIver
Founder & Software Architect, Xeo Software
“Life is all about the love you give.” Murph coined this phrase in his early twenties, and it’s guided every chapter of his life—from psychotherapy and military service to building software that helps others succeed.
Before launching Xeo Software in 2001, Murph served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, including a tour near the Korean DMZ. Today, he’s a software architect and business strategist who personally leads every project. With decades of experience working with entrepreneurs and businesses across many industries, he bridges the gap between technology and business, ensuring every solution goes beyond what’s asked and delivers what’s truly needed.
Throughout his career, service has remained central. He has volunteered as a hospice caregiver, mentored a child through Big Brothers Big Sisters in Honolulu, and continues to support local youth through Realities for Children in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he lives with his wife and two sons. His wife recently retired after 24 years as a U.S. Army pediatrician, including a tour in Afghanistan. Murph is also a Rotarian, a Paul Harris Fellow, and a Chamber of Commerce volunteer.

When he’s not building software or serving others, Murph stays active. He took up gymnastics at age 42 and still enjoys calisthenics. He also enjoys pickleball, skiing, and riding, both mountain and road bikes.
